Passport to Safety is an online national safety test, certification and transcript program for workers. Those who complete a test receive a 'certificate' or 'passport' which acknowledges and verifies the student's basic level of workplace health and safety knowledge.
G&G has implemented the "Passport to Safety" standard within their organisation.

PICS is designed to help our clients create a safe and sustainable prequalification program by pre-qualifying contractors, vendors and suppliers.
G&G is proud to be a registered company with PICS since 2012.

At G&G we have an H&S Management system in operation and we are planning to gain OHSAS 18000 accreditation.
Our management team / site Engineer / supervisor conducts a safety site brief to all our contractors and employees before attending site. Standard G&G and site specific safety practices and policies are discussed.
In addition to our employees, all our approved contractors' skills and training is managed through our specific H&S software. Each person has a skills matrix so that we ensure the right person is assigned to a job or project.
Our H&S system is managed and developed by our QHSE manager.

Creating, Managing and Developing a Health and Safety culture, starts "at home". In our workshops we adopt a 5's approach where everything has its place.
Our lifting equipment is colour coded and tested in accordance with the requirements of our H&S management system. All electrical items, such as welding sets, power extensions and items that we take to customer site, are PAT certified and marked accordingly.
