On 18th July 2018, BBC2 aired a documentary on prime-time TV showing a £5 billion sewer project for London, to update the antiquated Victorian built sewer system. G&G Engineering were featured on the BBC2 TV program for the project given the work they have undertook over the last few years there.
Mick Grain, Managing Director of G&G said, “The work G&G undertook was essential to keep the pumps operating in one of London’s main sewage treatment plants serving the sewer system and we were immensely proud to have worked there".
According to the BBC, London's Victorian sewer network is at bursting point and the huge engineering project, covered in a three-part series, will massively expand the capital's capacity to deal with its own waste.
Episode 2 of the documentary is planned to be shown on BBC2 national TV on Tuesday 24th July at 21.00, so get your popcorn at the ready in case Mick and the G&G team make another appearance.
